Our 6-foot-long Steel C Channel Winch Track is engineered to lock Sliding Winches firmly in place when tension is applied for a reliable and smooth tie-down. To install, position the Winch Track to the underside of the side rail, which will extend past the side rail 1/4 inches to 3/8 inches. Then weld it to the vehicle's side rail with 1/4-inch fillet welds 2 inches long every 6 inches with 1/8-inch minimum penetration. Finally, weld the Winch Track to the angle iron or shims. It's that simple. Now you're ready for an effortless tie-down job.
